1:1 coaching Either in person, by phone or video chat, we will work together to come up with an individual plan that best suits your needs and wants. Together we will work through what you want, need and vision for yourself. Executive 1:1 coaching is personalized for the individual and issues involved. It offers a candid and supportive environment where leaders can confidently gain new insights, learn new skills and develop new behaviors. Here is a sample list of (common and) potential areas of focus/topics for 1:1 coaching:
Career path and growth -- Where are you now, and where do you want to go?
Balance -- Managing the demands of ALL the facets of your life.
Executive presence – Projecting some combination of self-confidence, poise under pressure, authenticity, empathy, warmth and strength.
Communication skills – Clear and confident communication through active listening, bottom lining, and clear messaging.
Time management -- There are only so many hours of the day, working through how to best make use of the hours you DO have.
Conflict management skills – Understand and manage what is at stake, who you want to be, and resolving conflicts constructively.
Transitioning into new leadership roles – Hit the ground running in your new role through goal setting, visioning and working through changes.
Emotional & social intelligence – Building trust, relationships, influencing skills, managing emotions, reading emotions, resilience and conflict management.
Group Coaching Group coaching consists of working together as a group, with a trained coach as a facilitator. It can consist of a small group (2) or large (small team). I have experience working with executive teams, as well as business units, to hold sessions around any variety of goals (conflict management, communication, team mission, etc). Group coaching is best served when the group collectively agrees, and is open to working with a coach to achieve a team goal.
360 reviews are designed to get feedback from a variety of sources in your life, to see how you are showing up at work. Unlike a performance review, which typically interviews a small handful of people, my 360 reviews involve interviewing a minimum of 10 people from different areas; managers, peers, direct reports, mentors, friends and family. The wide range of interviewees allows me to get a full picture of you; both at work and outside of work. I conduct short phone interviews with each subject so that I can fully understand the issues at hand, push for examples and bring out the true impact of your behavior (both good and bad). 360 reviews provide an objective look at you, and end in a comprehensive report that details major themes of how you are showing up well, areas of development, and things to focus on going forward. With a 360 review report, you can then create an actionable, specific and meaningful personal development plan. 360 reviews are the best way to understand how the world is seeing you, and eliminate the conjecture of how you think people are seeing you. My preference is to start every coaching engagement with a 360 review as it pushes the coaching content into a robust and meaningful place very quickly.
